agapecatholicministries.com is an ecommerce website for ACM to sell products such as books, 3rd party courses and gift certificates. Built with HikaShop, HikaMarket and HikaSerial to provide a multivendor environment with gift certificates, each with a unique code, so users can purchase products with the code for free. This site was started with an earlier version of Joomla and upgraded to Joomla 4. All components were evaluated for a J4 upgrade path or find a replacement. The template had to be replaced as well, but we kept to the spirit of the original template and made the site responsive in the process.
Catholic Marriage Prep, a division of ACM, needed to upgrade their 10+ year old website to Joomla 4. This site started with Joomla 1.5. With over 1,000 pages across the entire website, it was no small feat. Software packages , components, installed in the earlier version of Joomla were not compatible with Joomla 4 and had to be replaced. They also wanted to stay faithful to the original design and we accomplished the goal with no downtime.
We were asked to create a new website for a division of Agapé Catholic Ministries. We created the new site using Joomla 4 and Joomlart's T4 template with an emphasis on organic search. It is multilingual with English and Spanish language versions of the site.
Catholic Quince Prep was created completley multilingual for English and Spanish, from the ground up. The language is detected from the users browser setting and the site is automatically presented in the user's language. The Big Tomato was an eCommerce site designed to sell specialized greenhouse and hydroponic growing products. The site grew to over $1 million/year in online sales.
This was our first website. We had a collection of over 53,000 old time radio shows in mp3 format. What does one do with 53,000 mp3 files? We created an eCommerce website to sell digital downloads of these files for a whopping 39 cents each. We had a lot of problems to solve in the process, but the exercise was great training for the future. We learned how to import the names of the files as product names. We sold "downloads" of the files and went on to create a subscription site as well.
